Google Home Camera History Gets Double-Tap Quick Seek

The Google Home app is introducing a new feature for navigating camera history more efficiently. The update, part of the Public Preview program, allows users to double-tap on the video playback window to quick seek through footage in 10-second increments.

• Double-tap right: Move forward 10 seconds.
• Double-tap left: Move backward 10 seconds.

This enhancement improves the user experience by providing a more granular and familiar method of navigating video content, similar to other video players. The feature is currently being rolled out and may not be available on all devices immediately.
