Steve Jobs' Original Macintosh Demo Site Now in Rubble: The End of an Era
The Flint Center in Cupertino, California, where Steve Jobs first unveiled the Macintosh computer in 1984, is now being demolished.

The Flint Center, where Steve Jobs launched the original Macintosh in 1984 and held key Apple events up until 2014, is being demolished. The site was also used by Apple for its first-ever shareholders meeting as a public company in 1981. Despite protests from musicians due to its acoustics, the center will be replaced by a new Creative Arts Building.
