Storage Crisis: Sony Japan Suspends Sales of High-Speed Memory Cards
Sony Japan has officially announced a temporary suspension of orders for several of its memory card lines, including both SD and CFexpress Type A formats. This halt affects direct sales to consumers as well as orders from third-party retailers. The company cited unforeseen difficulties in parts procurement and broader supply chain constraints as the primary reasons for the interruption. While existing stock may still be available at some outlets, new shipments are currently on indefinite hold until the component shortage is resolved.
