Take Control with iOS 18.4 Beta 2: Customize Priority Notifications for Each App

iOS 18.4 Beta 2 Update: Customizable Priority Notifications
Apple has introduced a new feature called Priority Notifications in the first beta of iOS 18.4, which uses Apple Intelligence to highlight potentially important notifications on the Lock Screen. Initially, this feature offered only an on-off switch for all apps. However, with the release of iOS 18.4 beta 2, users now have the ability to exclude specific apps from Priority Notifications.
By navigating to Settings > Notifications > Prioritize Notifications, users can toggle individual app controls to prevent certain notifications from being highlighted in the high-importance section on the Lock Screen. This granular control allows users to better manage which notifications they consider truly important, potentially improving the usefulness of the feature.
Apple's update addresses a key limitation of the initial implementation, giving users more flexibility and personalization options for their notification experience.
