Apple's Tap to Pay on iPhone technology has arrived in New Zealand, allowing merchants to accept contactless payments.
Apple has expanded its Tap to Pay easy-payment technology to New Zealand. This allows merchants to accept payments from customers using an iPhone or Apple Watch for contactless debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets without the need for additional hardware. The service is secure through NFC technology and encrypted transactions processed via a Secure Element.
