Tap to Pay on iPhone Expands to Europe: What You Need to Know

Apple's Tap to Pay feature expands to five new European countries, allowing more businesses to accept contactless payments through their iPhones.

Apple announced that Tap to Pay on iPhone is expanding to five new countries across Europe: Austria, Czech Republic, Ireland, Romania and Sweden. The feature allows businesses to use an iPhone as a contactless terminal for accepting payments from customers using their contactless card or iPhone/Watch. Tap to Pay on iPhone works with credit and debit cards from major payment networks like American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.
