A recent head-to-head comparison put Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to the test with a practical coding challenge: creating a functional Chrome extension from scratch using a single prompt. Despite the growing popularity of vibe coding, the results were surprisingly lopsided. Both Claude and ChatGPT failed to produce working results, often relying on outdated Manifest V2 syntax or generating logic errors.
