The iPhone 17 Air Could Make You Give Up Five Things Pro Users Love

The futuristic iPhone 17 Air could tempt many iPhone Pro users to make the switch, but they may have to sacrifice some key features like Ultra Wide and Telephoto cameras, a top-of-the-line A19 Pro chip, extra RAM, phenomenal battery life, and a titanium design.

The iPhone 17 Air, expected to launch in 2025, may lure users away from the Pro models with its ultra-thin and futuristic design. However, those switching from a Pro model may have to give up several features, such as Ultra Wide and Telephoto cameras (replaced by a single 'Fusion' camera), the A19 Pro chip (the 17 Air will come with an A19 chip), potentially worse battery life compared to the 17 Pro and Pro Max, extra RAM (with reports indicating the 17 Pro line will get bumped to 12GB of RAM while the 17 Air will stick with 8GB), and a primarily aluminum-based design instead of titanium like the 17 Pro line. Despite these compromises, the iPhone 17 Air's appeal could lie in its sleek design.
