The Sun Sets on Tamriel: The Elder Scrolls: Blades Prepares to Shut Down Forever

Bethesda’s ambitious dungeon-crawler is hanging up its sword as the curtains close on the Elder Scrolls mobile experience.

Bethesda has officially announced that its free-to-play spin-off, The Elder Scrolls: Blades, will be shutting down across all platforms, including Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, this June. Initially launched to bring the massive scale of the Elder Scrolls universe to mobile devices, the game offered first-person combat and town-building mechanics. After several years of service, the publisher has issued a final notification to the player base, thanking them for their journey while confirming the end of support and server access.
