Threads, Meta's microblogging platform, has reached 175 million monthly active users and is celebrating its first anniversary with the addition of custom icons. The app was initially launched with several missing features, but most have since been implemented, including a web version, built-in translation, chronological search, fast switching between accounts, tags, an API, and fediverse integration.
