Tim Cook on Apple Intelligence: We weren't first with AI, but we'll be the best

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, has stated that although Apple was not the first to develop AI technology, they aim to provide the best experience for their customers. Despite being reported as two years behind the rest of the AI industry, Cook emphasizes the importance of refining their product through iterations and attention to detail. He has been using Apple Intelligence email summaries extensively and believes it will change lives by making them 'profoundly different'. The rollout of Apple Intelligence to users is expected to happen in stages across different territories over the next few months, with the first major release anticipated on October 28, 2024.
