Apple CEO Tim Cook was entrepreneurial from an early age, using money from a paper route to save toward his college education. He became the first person in his family to attend college thanks to this job, along with working part-time at a pharmacy.

After graduating from Auburn University in 1982, he worked for IBM for 12 years before moving on to Compaq and eventually joining Apple in 1998.
