Transform Your Living Room into a Smart Security Hub with Abode’s New Apple TV App

DIY smart home security leader Abode brings seamless control and monitoring to Apple TV, letting users manage their system from the comfort of their couch.

Abode, a company known for its DIY smart home security systems with HomeKit support, has launched an Apple TV app that brings comprehensive control over home security and smart devices to the living room. The new app allows users to arm and disarm their security system, view live feeds from up to four Abode cameras, and access recorded clips directly from their Apple TV. It also supports browsing through video footage or jumping to key events if the user has a 24/7 recording plan. Additionally, the app integrates with Abode CUE for smart home automation, enabling control of various devices from the dashboard. The interface is designed to be consistent with Abode's iPhone app, ensuring a seamless experience across different devices. The Apple TV app is now available and complements an updated Google TV app, both of which are outlined in Abode’s latest blog post.
