Transform Your Shots with Movie-Inspired Camera Presets on Nothing Phone (3a)

Nothing’s Camera Presets Transform the World into Your Favorite Movie Just after the launch of the Nothing Phone (3a) series, a new feature called 'Camera Presets' was introduced. This feature allows users to customize and save specific camera settings, creating unique visual effects that can be shared via QR codes. These presets use Look-Up Tables (LUTs) to transform photos into styles reminiscent of popular movies and shows.
A user on Nothing’s forums had a clever idea: using AI tools like ChatGPT to generate LUTs based on specific color palettes, such as those from Apple's Severance (blue palette) and Mad Max (orange palette). The results were impressive, though the process required some manual steps since the AI couldn't directly create the .cube files.
While ChatGPT provided code for the LUTs, Google’s Gemini offered Python code to generate the files on a PC. Nothing also published a guide on how to create these files. This innovative use of AI could pave the way for Nothing to integrate similar features into their apps in the future.
