uBlock Origin Struggles with Google Chrome's Extension Upgrades
Due to Google Chrome's shift to a new manifest version, uBlock Origin is facing issues rendering it less effective and automatically disabled for some users.

Google Chrome's move to a new manifest version has caused the ad-blocker uBlock Origin to be automatically disabled for users. This is due to incompatibilities with the new Manifest V3 platform. The developer of uBlock Origin suggests using uBlock Origin Lite as an alternative, but notes it will be less effective than the original. Google says over 93% of maintained extensions in the Chrome Web Store use Manifest V3.
