Ultra-Thin iPhone Redesign Set to Make a Splash in 2025

Report: Ultra-thin iPhone Coming in 2025 with Major Redesign
According to a report from The Information, Apple is planning a significant redesign for one of its 2025 iPhone models. This new model, possibly called 'iPhone Slim,' will feature an ultra-thin form factor and several advanced design elements:
- Thinner Design: The phone will be significantly thinner than current models and may discontinue the iPhone Plus line.
- Aluminum Chassis: It is being tested with a potential aluminum chassis for added durability.
- Smaller Notch: A smaller hole and pill-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera and sensors could replace the existing notch.
- A19 Processor: Equipped with Apple’s latest-generation processor, likely named the A19.
- Improved Front Camera: Enhanced capabilities for better video calls and selfies.
- Screen Size: The display will measure between 6.12 inches (standard iPhone) and 6.69 inches (iPhone Pro Max).
- Rear Camera Placement: Rear cameras might be relocated to the top center of the phone’s back, moving from their current upper-left corner position.
- Higher Price Point: Expected to be more expensive than the current Pro Max model, aligning with a luxury market positioning.
The report draws parallels to the 2017 iPhone X, which introduced revolutionary features like Face ID, OLED display, and thin bezels. This new model could mark another significant leap forward for Apple’s flagship device, potentially ushering in an era of more expensive and luxurious iPhones.
