Apple has reintroduced the volume slider on the iPhone Lock Screen with the release of iOS 18.2, addressing a long-standing user complaint about its removal in iOS 16. The new 'Always Show Volume Control' option can be found in the Settings app under Accessibility > Audio and Visual. This feature is currently available to developer beta testers with iPhone models supporting Apple Intelligence and is expected to roll out more broadly in November and December.
