The M4 Mac mini features a slotted & removable SSD, but don't expect upgrades. Older Intel-based Mac minis provided users with the ability to disassemble the computer and upgrade components such as RAM or storage. However, easily replaceable internal storage on the Mac mini has not been available for over 10 years.
