USB Issues Reported by Some macOS Sequoia Users

Users who have upgraded to macOS Sequoia are reporting issues with USB connectivity. Drives and chargers plugged into the USB-C ports of MacBooks are not being detected, or are taking a long time to become usable. The issue is not limited to a specific model or chip, and seems to be affecting M1, M2, and M3 chips, as well as MacBook Air and iMac. Some users are finding that their USB flash drives are not being recognized and do not appear in Disk Utility. The issue is not widespread, but affected users are advised to contact Apple Support to report the problem and potentially receive a software fix in a future update.
