visionOS 2.4 Brings Spanish and Italian Support, Hinting at Expanded Vision Pro Launch
visionOS 2.4 Adds Support for Spanish and Italian, Hinting at Vision Pro Expansion
On March 3, 2025, Apple released the second beta of visionOS 2.4 to developers. The update primarily focuses on enabling Apple Intelligence in the Vision Pro headset but also introduces support for two new languages: Spanish and Italian. This addition suggests that Apple is preparing to launch the Vision Pro in Spain and Italy soon.
Currently, visionOS supports several languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional – Hong Kong), English (Australia, UK, US), French (Canada), German, Japanese, and Korean. The localization for Spanish appears to be tailored for the European variant.
iOS 18.4 and visionOS 2.4 are expected to release to the public in April, which aligns with potential Vision Pro launches in these new markets. Apple has already rolled out the Vision Pro in several countries, including the US, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, UK, South Korea, UAE, and Taiwan.
The base model of the Apple Vision Pro, with 256GB storage, is priced at $3,499 in the US, with higher storage options also available.
