Apple Vision Pro Update Overview

Release and Availability: Apple has released visionOS 2.4, the first update to enable Apple Intelligence features in Apple Vision Pro. Notably, these AI features are currently only available in US English. This means users must set both the system language and Siri to US English to access these functionalities.

Comparison with iOS: Apple Intelligence on Vision Pro includes similar tools as those available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, such as Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and text summarization. Unlike the iPhone, Vision Pro does not currently have Visual Intelligence features.

Expansion of Apple Intelligence: While the initial release of Apple Intelligence was limited to US English, iOS 18.2 expanded AI capabilities to more variations of English, and iOS 18.4 further extended support to French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Chinese, and Spanish.

Additional Features in visionOS 2.4:

  • Spatial Gallery App: A new app featuring curated photos, videos, and spatial panoramas by Apple.
  • Guest Sharing: Enhanced features for sharing a Vision Pro with guests.

Installation: Users can install the update via Settings > General > Software Update.

Availability of Vision Pro: The device is currently available in Australia, Canada, China mainland, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK, and the US.
