watchOS 11.5 Brings Stability and Quality Improvements to Your Apple Watch
Apple has released watchOS 11.5, an update primarily focused on stability and quality improvements rather than introducing new features. This follows the introduction of 'Break Through Silent Mode' in watchOS 11.4, which ensures that sound and haptics will play regardless of whether Silent Mode is enabled. The initial release of watchOS 11 in September 2024 brought significant enhancements such as customizable Activity Rings, advanced health monitoring via the Vitals app, and a new Training Load tool for athletes. Users can update to watchOS 11.5 by ensuring their Apple Watch is charged to at least 50% and connected to Wi-Fi, then following the software update prompts in the Settings app on the Apple Watch or the Apple Watch app on their iPhone.
