WhatsApp Shortcut Mysteriously Vanishes from Pixel Camera's Social Share Feature

WhatsApp shortcut vanishes from Pixel Camera's Social Share, leaving users in the lurch.

In recent weeks, Pixel Camera users have noticed the disappearance of the WhatsApp shortcut from the Social Share feature. The Social Share function allows users to quickly send media by swiping up on the gallery preview next to the shutter button, with options to set up to three apps including Quick Share. Although users can still configure which apps appear in Camera Settings, WhatsApp was removed as an option earlier this month (as of Pixel Camera 9.8). Instagram for Stories remains available. This issue has occurred before in 2021 and was resolved with a subsequent update to WhatsApp. It is expected that a fix will be released soon.
