Why the iPhone 17 Air Might Struggle: New Survey Reveals User Preferences

Upcoming iPhone 17 Air may struggle in the market as survey reveals 92.7% of users prefer higher-end models with multiple rear cameras.

A recent survey of 3,500 current iPhone users conducted by SellCell highlights potential challenges for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air model. Despite the excitement around this ultra-thin device, only 7.3% of respondents with an iPhone 15 or older plan to upgrade to the iPhone 16e, citing a lack of multiple rear cameras and a preference for higher-end models as primary reasons. These concerns also apply to the iPhone 17 Air, suggesting that Apple will need to address these issues to make the new model more appealing. However, it’s noted that Apple may not be overly concerned if users opt for the more expensive iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max instead.
