Xiaomi could potentially offer monthly Android updates starting next year

Xiaomi is reportedly working on providing monthly Android updates for its devices starting in 2025, as hinted by the company's VP Alvin T on Twitter/X.

Xiaomi has announced that it may be able to provide monthly Android updates for its devices starting in 2025. Currently, the company releases updates every 90 days, even for flagship devices, and promises four years of major Android updates. The change would bring Xiaomi in line with other brands like Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy, which already offer monthly security updates.
