YouTube Music tests a new Now Playing redesign with reorganized controls
YouTube Music tests a new Now Playing redesign which reorganizes the play/pause, next/last track and other controls

YouTube Music is testing a redesign of its Now Playing page, which was last revamped in September 2023. The new design reorganizes the controls for play/pause, next/last track, shuffle, and rewind buttons to appear below the song name and artist. The timeline has been redesigned to match the main YouTube app, and the actions carousel has been moved to the bottom of the page. This redesign breaks muscle memory but makes the control buttons larger.
