YouTube is rolling out a redesigned playback speed control for its Android and iOS apps, making it easier to adjust the speed of videos with a new slider and preset increments.

YouTube is rolling out a redesign of its playback speed controls on Android and iOS apps. The update includes a shorter UI at the bottom of the display with five preset increments (0.25, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, and 2.0) and a slider that allows users to adjust playback speed in 0.5 increments. This redesign is being implemented through a server-side update for version 19.43 of YouTube for Android and 19.44 for iOS.
