An unreliable report claims that despite a ban on Russian government workers using iPhones, sales have increased fourfold, with the cost rising from $17,670 between January to September 2023 to approximately $71,470 for the same period in 2024. The iPhone 16 base model costs about $1,225 in Russia, which would limit the number of iPhones that could be bought.
