The Instagram app has faced performance issues for some Pixel users following the Android 15 update. Users have reported content skipping, freezing, and difficulty interacting with stories, rendering the app almost unusable. The issue affects certain models such as Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9, etc but doesn't impact all users. Updating to a newer version of the app appears to resolve the problem while another workaround mentioned is tapping on the 'message' box then going back which allows stories to function correctly.
