The company wants to give users the option to choose between different AI models for their devices. For now, ChatGPT from OpenAI will be the only available AI model when the new features begin rolling out later this year.

This could potentially include Google Gemini. The initial partnership is with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT natively to iOS 18.
