NotebookLM Redesign and New Features for Google One AI Premium

Google is rolling out a big update to NotebookLM, including a redesign and new features like Audio Overviews with an Interactive mode to join conversations. The Plus tier for the service will offer more features and resources.

NotebookLM has received a fluid three-column design that adapts to user needs: Sources panel, middle Chat panel, and Studio panel. This allows users to switch between activities in a unified interface.

The new Interactive mode for Audio Overviews lets users join conversations by asking the hosts questions after being called on. It's like having a personal tutor or guide.

NotebookLM Plus will offer expanded resources such as 5x more Audio Overviews, 500 notebooks, and up to 500 chat queries per day. New premium features include customizable notebook sharing (including Chat-only) advanced settings for response style and output length, plus analytics on user access.
