OnePlus 13 Set to Launch with Magnetic Accessories Despite Lacking Qi2 Charging

The OnePlus 13 is gearing up for a global release soon, but ahead of its debut, the device has been officially confirmed to lack Qi2 charging. However, this doesn’t mean you won’t be able to use MagSafe accessories with the device.

The OnePlus 13 is set to launch globally in the near future, but it has been confirmed that the device will not feature Qi2 charging. Instead, it will use the Qi 1.3.3 specification. However, OnePlus will offer magnetic cases for the OnePlus 13 that enable MagSafe-like accessories. These cases will also work with other MagSafe and Qi2 accessories. The global launch of the OnePlus 13 is expected to take place in January 2025.
