Verizon Unlocks Satellite Texting for Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25 Users
Verizon has launched a new satellite texting service for its customers using the Google Pixel 9 series and Samsung Galaxy S25 series devices, allowing them to send text messages to any phone number outside of traditional cellular networks. This feature is being rolled out starting from March 19, 2025, and will be available to all users within the next two weeks. The service leverages satellite connectivity provided by AST SpaceMobile, marking a significant expansion in Verizon's capabilities and making its customers among the first in the U.S. to enjoy this functionality on Android devices.
