Apple is reportedly working on a tabletop smart home device with a robotic arm, serving as a command center, video conferencing machine, and remote-controlled home security tool. The device will have an iPad-like display that can tilt up and down and spin 360 degrees with an actuator and a thin robotic arm to move around a large display. Apple is targeting a release date of 2026 or 2027 for this device.
