Apple Enhances CarPlay with a Third Row of App Icons for Larger Displays

Apple introduced a welcome update in iOS 18.4 beta, enhancing CarPlay's usability on larger car displays by adding a third row of app icons. This change addresses the growing trend of cars featuring larger built-in screens and improves navigation within CarPlay without requiring users to switch between multiple home screen pages. The improvement is currently available on vehicles with sufficiently large displays, such as the Toyota Tundra, which can have up to a 14-inch display.
