Apple Expands Apple Intelligence to 10 New Languages in iOS 18.4
Apple Expands Language Support with iOS 18.4 Apple has announced that iOS 18.4 will introduce a significant language expansion for Apple Intelligence, launching publicly in April. Initially launched in October with support for US English only, the feature expanded to additional English variants in iOS 18.2. With iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence will now support non-English languages for the first time, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (simplified). Additionally, localized English support is added for Singapore and India, bringing the total to 10 new language options.
Siri’s AI upgrades, which were expected in iOS 18.4, are likely to be pushed to iOS 18.5. Apple has stated that more capabilities for Siri will be introduced in the coming months.
