However, customer confusion and a staggered rollout have hindered widespread adoption.A representative from an Apple Home accessory manufacturer told AppleInsider under the condition of anonymity that there would be no updates to HAP moving forward.New devices certified as Matter will still work with HomeKit as versions of the HomeKit framework are part of the CSA's Matter spec.
