Apple Now Allowing iCloud Email Address Changes with iOS 18.1 Update

Apple has introduced a new feature in iOS 18.1 that allows users to change their iCloud email address directly from the Settings app. This update provides a more straightforward way to modify primary Apple Account email addresses and iCloud email addresses. Previously, users could only set an alias for sending emails, but with this new feature, users can now easily switch to a new iCloud email and make it their primary address. However, once changed, emails from the old @iCloud.com or @me.com address will no longer be received, and the old address will not be usable for FaceTime and iMessage.
