Apple Pay, initially launched on October 20, has become an invaluable tool for shoppers around the world in just ten years.

Apple Pay, launched on October 20, 2014, initially only available in the United States, has since become popular worldwide with "hundreds of millions of consumers in 78 markets" using the service. It's not only used on millions of websites and apps but also tens of millions of stores around the world supported by more than 11,000 bank and network partners. According to a survey, the top reason for Apple Pay's popularity was its ease of use at 90%, followed by privacy and security at 88% and 87%. 85% of U.S. consumers were "very satisfied or extremely satisfied" with the service, which is now used on millions of websites around the world as well as tens of millions of stores and supported by more than 11,000 bank and network partners.
