Apple's Surprising AirPods Max Update: New Colors and USB-C, But No Major Upgrades
Apple's 'It's Glowtime' event sees the release of updated AirPods Max with new colors and USB-C charging, but no AirPods Max 2 or H2 chip.

Apple announced an 'updated' version of its AirPods Max headphones at its 'It's Glowtime' event, rather than the anticipated AirPods Max 2. The updated over-ear headphones feature new color options including Starlight, Midnight, Purple, Orange, and Blue, as well as a USB-C port for charging that replaces the previous Lightning connector. However, there was no mention of an H2 chip upgrade or other features exclusive to the AirPods Pro models.
