Discover the World Anew: Apple Maps Introduces Exciting Features for Explorers and Adventurers

Apple Maps has introduced new features to help users explore and find places they love. These updates include detailed national park hikes and topographic maps, custom walking routes, an all-new Places Library, and enhanced search experience. Users can now browse thousands of hikes in U.S. national parks, filter them by route type, length, and elevation, and follow along with turn-by-turn navigation. Topographic maps on iPhone and Apple Watch are available for the US and Japan. Custom hiking and walking routes can be created and saved in countries and territories around the world. The all-new Places Library allows users to save places, curated Maps Guides, national park hikes, and custom routes, and add personal notes about each. The enhanced search experience makes it easier for users to discover and compare places by browsing photos, ratings, price level, and more.
