Foxconn India Ends Recruitment Discrimination Against Married Women
Foxconn India stops discriminating against married women in hiring
Foxconn told recruitment agencies to stop putting forward conditions about marital status and other issues in job ads for the company. The practice went against both Apple's and Foxconn's stated rules of equal opportunity. Foxconn also mandated that the job ads do not include its own company name. Neither Foxconn nor Apple have responded to this development.
