The FIDO Alliance standards body has published specifications that should allow passkeys to be shared across different platforms and password apps. This new feature would enable users to securely move their passkeys between providers and is developed in collaboration with companies like Apple, 1Password, and Google. The draft is open for review through Github, but there's no set date yet for its implementation.
