Google Drive's New Automatic 'Enhance' Feature for Document Scanning on Android

Google Drive is rolling out automatic 'Enhance' to its mobile document scanner.

Google has introduced a new automatic 'Enhance' feature for the document scanner in its Drive app on Android devices. The tool, which was announced alongside December's Pixel Feature Drop, will perform actions like white balance correction, shadow removal, contrast enrichment, auto sharpening, light improvement, and more to improve scanned images.

The new feature is rolling out now and will be fully available within the coming weeks for all Workspace customers, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts. The Enhance tool can be accessed on the Preview screen after capturing an image by tapping a sparkle icon.
