Google’s Find My Device Rebrands as ‘Find Hub’ with Enhanced Features and Partnerships

Google's Find My Device app is being rebranded as 'Find Hub' and is introducing new features to help users keep track of their possessions more effectively. The updated app will work with a growing list of partners, offering specialized tracking options for items like luggage and ski equipment. Real-time location sharing has been enhanced, allowing users to see profile images of contacts within the app. Later this year, satellite connectivity will be available for supported devices, enabling location sharing even in areas without coverage. Partnerships with major airlines aim to help prevent lost luggage while traveling. Find Hub is rolling out today on Android 6 or higher.
