GroceryBot: The AI-Powered Grocery Planner That Simplifies Shopping

Welcome to this week’s Indie App Spotlight, where we showcase the latest and greatest indie apps. This week's app is GroceryBot - an all-in-one meal planning and grocery shopping assistant.
GroceryBot simplifies your grocery experience with features such as automatic categorization of items, AI assistance for meal planning and recipe import, expiration reminders to prevent food waste, nutrition information on products and note taking abilities. The app also offers family sharing capabilities via a QR code system.
One useful feature is the ability to sort groceries by different stores, allowing you to organize your shopping list according to preferred or cheaper locations. Additionally, the built-in AI chatbot can provide meal ideas and help manage your pantry. Another key function is "Bundles", which enables users to import recipes from URLs with all necessary ingredients grouped together in the app.
While GroceryBot offers core functionalities for free, subscribing to GroceryBot+ at $2.99/month or $19.99/year provides access to premium features such as the AI chat feature. The app requires an iPhone running on iOS 17 or later and is also available on Mac and Apple Vision Pro but not natively.
