Honor Magic 6 Pro Review: Close to Android Perfection, but with a Few Quirks

The Honor Magic 6 Pro is a standout Android smartphone that almost earns the title of 'the best phone.' The device boasts excellent hardware, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a huge 5,600 mAh battery with impressive battery life, and a stunning camera system. The 6.8-inch display offers high brightness and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it visually appealing. However, the software, MagicOS, is where the device faces some issues. While generally pleasant, MagicOS has niche features that are underutilized due to poor integration with Android's core interactions. Features like Magic Portal and the back gesture menu are innovative but not seamlessly integrated into everyday use. Despite these shortcomings, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is a compelling device available in Europe and Asia, starting at £1,099 in the UK.
