Instagram is introducing new measures to protect teenagers from sextortion scams. The company, owned by Meta, said that the new safeguards include hiding teens' followers lists and giving them more resources to recognize potential fraudsters. In a separate development, Instagram appears to be working on a new feature called Social Library, which would allow users to easily find photos, videos, and other content they have shared or liked.
