The upcoming iOS 18.1 update will allow users to change their primary iCloud email address, giving them more flexibility with their Apple Account (formerly known as Apple ID). Previously, changes to the primary email required creating alias addresses or deleting and reverifying the account. Additionally, for the first time, users can turn off a primary iCloud email in addition to the option of deleting it.
