Logic Pro Update: Quantec Room Simulator and More

Apple has released a major update to Logic Pro for Mac and iPad, introducing several new features. Key additions include the Quantec Room Simulator plugin, built using original schematics and algorithms from inventor Wolfgang Buchleitner, offering users access to the authentic hardware recreation of the legendary Quantec QRS and Yardstick reverbs. The update also brings improved plug-in search functionality for Mac users, allowing easier navigation and addition of plugins. iPad users will benefit from enhancements to the Sound Browser and Sound Library, facilitating better organization and use of personal sample collections. Other updates include a new Modular Melodies sound pack, improved mixer layout customization, direct export to Voice Memos, easier plugin removal with Command key functionality, enhanced routing options via in-menu search, and quicker editing through directional key commands for Marquee selections. Logic Pro for iPad requires an iPad Air or iPad Pro with M1 or higher, available at $4.99/month or $49/year after a one-month free trial. Logic Pro for Mac is available for a one-time purchase of $199.99 following a 90-day free trial.
